COVID-19 and Chichester Cottage

Hygiene and cleanliness have always been a priority for Chichester Cottage and even though we are well on the other side of the pandemic, we want to reassure all our guests booking with us that all of our safety measures remain in place.

What measures have we put in place to keep everyone safe?

  • Our check in time is now from 4.00pm and check out on or before 10.00am. This allows for thorough and additional cleaning between guests.
  • The property is fully ventilated between each booking.
  • Every room is cleaned following very extensive check lists, including every surface and high-touch points.
  • All bed linen and towels are professionally washed at high temperatures.

In order to help keep everyone safe, we kindly ask that guests:

  • Strip the bedding and place in the bags provided.
  • Please place bath towels into separate bags provided.
  • Bag up any rubbish before vacating and dispose of in the bins allocated to the cottage.
  • Remove all personal belongings and all food items brought into the cottage.  We will not accept responsibility for any items left behind.
  • Load the dishwasher and start the machine before vacating.
  • Vacate the property before the cleaner arrives to clean the property at 10.00 on the day of departure.

 Hygiene and cleanliness have always been a priority for Chichester Cottage, and even more in the current climate of the pandemic. The safety of our guests is paramount and we want to reassure all of you booking with us that in line with Government guidance, we have made changes and so have procedures in place to protect everyone, guests, hosts and staff.

Should you develop any Covid-19 symptoms, between the time that you book and your planned arrival date, we politely ask that you cancel your booking with us and we will do our best to move your stay to a future date. It is equally important that you notify us as soon as possible if you should develop any symptoms during or after your stay.

  • The property is fully ventilated between each booking.
  • Every room is cleaned following very extensive check lists, including every surface and high-touch points 
  • All bed linen and towels are professionally washed at high temperatures.

  • fill out our COVID-19 form and agree to cancel or postpone their booking should they develop any symptoms prior to travelling.
  • agree to notify the owner should they develop any symptoms during their stay.
  • vacate the property before the cleaner arrives to clean the property at 09:30 on the day of departure.
